Just as there are annual costs associated with keeping your home or car running smoothly, or HOA fees to improve your community, yearly fees are distributed among all the owners in the Bluegreen Vacation Club to keep your resorts up to the standard of quality and services you expect. Taken together, your annual maintenance fees and club dues help ensure that we’re able to provide you with great vacation experiences, from the time you make a reservation to the time you leave your favorite resort.
One of the many benefits your Bluegreen Vacations ownership brings is the continual upkeep, updates and improvements being made to your resorts. Your maintenance fees not only cover day-to-day operational expenses, but also improvements ranging from new furniture to complete resort renovations and pay property taxes.
What upkeep costs are covered by your maintenance fees?
Resort Staff
Labor costs associated with cleaning services, villa maintenance, landscaping, waste services, as well as running activities and guest services.
Resort Operating Expenses
Supplies across each resort property including cleaning products, linens and towels, stationary, computer equipment, electricity, water, gas, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and other daily operating expenses. Each resort also carries Property insurance to protect against fire and other catastrophic events such as tornados, hurricanes and winter storms. Landscaping
Lawn upkeep, planting flowers, trimming hedges and trees, sprinkler systems.
Amenities Upkeep
Service and refurbishment of pools, gym equipment, outdoor grills, activity areas, playgrounds, and other shared facilities.
Building Maintenance
Mechanical equipment maintenance, licensing and inspections, interior and exterior painting, housekeeping services, deep cleaning of all guest rooms and common areas. And preserving the structural integrity of the resort.
Villa Upgrades
Soft goods like bedding, furniture, and decor are refreshed every 5 to 6 years. Other goods such as coffee tables, dining tables and chairs, dressers, appliances, etc. are refreshed every 10 to 12 years, while kitchen, bath, and flooring remodels take place every 15 to 18 years. Reserve Funds
These funds are used to elevate the guest experience by enhancing all of the physical elements at the resorts, which include upgrading all common area spaces, amenities, building interiors and exteriors, preserving building structural integrity, furniture, fixtures, equipment, mechanical systems, parking lots, roadways, and roofing systems. What costs are not covered by your maintenance fees?
There are many business expenses which are not funded by maintenance fees as the expenses are not directly associated with the Bluegreen Vacation Club. Operations of our sales centers, funding the acquisition of a new resort before it becomes part of the Bluegreen Vacation Club, construction costs to add a building to an existing club resort property, renovation of a newly acquired property before it’s sold into the Bluegreen Vacation Club, sponsorships and partner relationships such as NASCAR®, Bass Pro/Cabela’s and Choice Hotels®.
Club Dues
Club dues are like maintenance fees, but for operational expenses of general ownership instead of resorts. Club dues cover all the operational expenses associated with your ownership at the Club level, including (but not limited to) toll- free reservations phone number, vacation specialists servicing calls and web chats, accounting, club management, VIP privileges, your annual subscription to the Member Magazine, other club communications and in most cases, your annual exchange company membership.

Your maintenance fees and club dues are used to maintain the quality you deserve in your home away from home so you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest extent possible.
Paying is Easy as 1-2-3
Maintenance fees and club dues are due within 45 days of the statement date based on your purchase anniversary date. Even if you own multiple contracts with Bluegreen Vacations, you will receive only one club dues bill and, in most cases, the billing date will be based on your first purchase with Bluegreen Vacations.
