Daily Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive in Shannon - Limerick (D)
Céad mile fáilte-a hundred-thousand welcomes! On arrival, you'll be transferred from the Shannon airport to your hotel in Limerick. This evening meet your Tour Director and traveling companions for a welcome dinner at your hotel.
Day 2 - Limerick - Cliffs of Moher - Galway - Clifden (B, D)
Visit the 668-foot-high Cliffs of Moher above the Atlantic Ocean. Try your hand at scone baking, learn about sheep herding, and enjoy coffee and your scones at an Irish farm in Rathbaun. Enjoy free time in Galway. Visit the Joyce family at their marble workshop at Moycullen.
Day 3 - Clifden - Kylemore - Westport - Sligo · (B, D)
Scenic drive with stop at Westport en route to the Connemara region. Visit the Kylemore Abbey and gardens. Enjoy free time in Westport.
Day 4 - Sligo - Derry · Northern Ireland - Giant’s Causeway - Belfast (B)
Walk on the city walls with a Local Guide in Derry. See more than 40,000 interlocking basalt columns formed millions years ago at Giant's Causeway.
Day 5 - Belfast · (B)
“Living History” tour with a Local Guide includes City Hall, the Albert Memorial Clock Tower, Queen’s University, and the Parliament Buildings at Stormont. Visit Titanic Experience museum. Free time this afternoon.
Day 6 - Belfast - Carlingford · Ireland - Dublin (B, D)
Guided tour of Hillsborough Castle followed by morning coffee. Stop at a village on the Cooley Peninsula. Enjoy a popular outing to the legendary Taylors Irish Cabaret, featuring a delicious dinner, drinks, and outstanding Irish music, dance, and comedy.
Day 7 - Dublin (B, D)
Morning orientation drive to see O’Connell Street, Georgian squares, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Trinity College. Enjoy free time in Dublin followed by an included excursion to the Guinness Storehouse with dinner.
Day 8 - Dublin - Kilkenny - Waterford (B, D)
See one of Ireland’s prettiest towns with medieval cobblestones. Visit Kilkenny Castle and gardens. Guided tour of the House of Waterford Crystal. Enjoy an Irish coffee demonstration after dinner. Get a real taste of everyday life in Ireland with a memorable evening at a Waterford pub, featuring live music, two drinks of your choice, and the chance to rub elbows with the friendly locals!
Day 9 - Waterford - Blarney - Kinsale (B, D)
Waterford city walk with a Local Guide. Visit the village and Blarney Castle renowned for its magical Kissing Stone with free time to explore.
Day 10 - Kinsale - Garinish Island - Killarney (B, D)
Private boat crossing to Garinish Island followed by a walk of the island. Panoramic drive around part of the island’s southwestern tip. In the evening, the best of Ireland is on full display in Tralee. Enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner, followed by a dynamic cultural show at the Siamsa Tíre National Folk Theatre!
Day 11 - Killarney - Excursion to Dingle Peninsula · (B, D)
Visit the Blasket Islands Centre and stop at Dingle. Free time this evening.
Day 12 - Killarney - Adare-Limerick (B, D)
Start the day with the scenic treasures of Killarney during a delightful horse-drawn jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park to legendary Ross Castle on the shores of Lough Leane. Stop at the quaint village of Adare to see its pretty thatched cottages. Spend free time in Limerick. Step back in time at Bunratty Castle's original Irish medieval banquet. Enjoy a 4-course feast with wine, then relax as your medieval hosts dazzle you with unforgettable music and storytelling.
DAY 13 - Limerick (B)
Your vacation ends with breakfast in Limerick and transfer to the Shannon airport.
