Don’t think you can see the top sights of Britain and Ireland in 10 days? Sharpen your pencils to cross off your bucket-list destinations in five fabulous countries. A jolly good time awaits in England, Scotland, and Wales, plus both territories of Ireland, as you explore the lively capital cities of each and the thatched-roof-dotted countryside in between. Coast through rolling hills, ferry across legendary waterways, and skip down cobblestone streets to discover the wonders of Stonehenge, Waterford, York, and more on this tour of Britain and Ireland. Along the way, you’ll drink in the sights of fairytale castles and storybook settings as well as the locally brewed ales, strong Irish coffees, and perfectly aged Scotch whiskies passionately poured in every pub. Experience Scotland’s Military Tattoo, a vast spectacle of massed Scottish pipe bands that take place in an arena on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle. Day 1: Arrive in London, England
Welcome to London! Upon arrival, a uniformed Globus representative will transfer you from the airport to your hotel. At the hotel meet your Bluegreen Host in the lobby area. Today is a free day to adjust to the time change and explore this exciting city at your own pace.
Day 2: Arrive in London, England
Today enjoy free time to explore London! In the evening enjoy a traditional dining experience followed by a nighttime cruise along the Thames River, viewing some of the capital's most beautiful illuminated sights.

Day 3: London – Stonehenge – Bath – Newport, Wales
Meet your Tour Director and travel companions at 8 am and drive to Stonehenge. Try to unravel the mystery of prehistoric Stonehenge. Explore the visitor center with its imaginative exhibitions, then admire the magnificence of the monument up close! At the elegant Georgian city of bath, see the amazing excavations of the Roman Baths, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bath has some of Britain’s grandest Georgian buildings, a mecca for elite 18th century society. Then cross the Severn River for a late-afternoon arrival in Wales where you will enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow travelers!

Day 4: Newport – Cardiff – Waterford, Ireland
In the morning enjoy an orientation drive in the Welsh capital featuring Cardiff Castle, Cathays Park, and the stately civic buildings. Continue along the South Wales coast to Pembroke, where your ferry will be waiting. Cross St. George’s Channel to Rosslare on the Emerald Isle and proceed to Waterford, a stronghold founded by the Danish Vikings in 853. After dinner this evening, enjoy an Irish coffee demonstration.

Day 5: Waterford – Kilkenny - Dublin
In the morning, enjoy a guided tour of the House of Waterford Crystal. Later in the day see one of Ireland’s most quaint towns with medieval cobblestones with a visit to Kilkenny Castle and gardens. Discover over 800 years of Irish history at Kilkenny Castle, walk the halls of art and artifacts and browse the walls of tapestries and treasures in this unique landmark building that was home to the Butler family for centuries. On arrival in Dublin, have fun at the legendary Taylors Irish Cabaret! Enjoy an evening of outstanding Irish music, dance and comedy while enjoying a delicious dinner and drinks.

Day 6: Dublin
Begin the day with an orientation drive to see Ireland’s capital city’s statue-lined O’Connell Street, elegant Georgian squares, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Oscar Wilde’s Trinity College. In the afternoon enjoy some free time to explore the vibrant city of Dublin. Consider visiting one of Dublin’s many museums or trying one of the many Irish pubs! In the evening have fun discovering the history, traditions, and brewing techniques behind one of the world’s most popular beer with a tour of the Guinness Storehouse. Enjoy a Guinness tasting at the Storehouse followed by dinner!

Day 7: Dublin – Belfast, Northern Ireland – Edinburgh, Scotland
On your way to Northern Ireland, cross the Boyne River, then skirt the Mountains of Mourne. In Belfast, hear how shipbuilding ruled and Irish linen was king. In the port city where the Titanic was built, a bold rebirth of arts and architecture thrive amid historic castles and churches drawing visitors from around the globe. Then take a ferry across the North Channel into Scotland’s Cairnryan on Scotland’s southwest coast and continue through the scenic Scottish border country to Edinburgh. In the evening enjoy an authentic Scottish Evening with Highland dancers, bagpipers, traditional food and drinks, and, of course, the unforgettable Ceremony of the Haggis!

Day 8: Edinburgh
Enjoy some morning city sightseeing with a local guide that introduces you to the 200-year old “New Town”, and the famous scientists, inventors, and novelists who lived there. In “Old Town”, visit Edinburg Castle to admire Scotland’s Crown Jewels. The Edinburgh Castle is one of the most important historical strongholds in the Kingdom of Scotland. The afternoon is free to enjoy the Scottish capital at your own pace. Later, a unique opportunity to discover what life was like on board Her Majesty's floating residence during an exciting visit of the Royal Yacht Britannia, followed by dinner with wine at an excellent local restaurant. Finish the day with a performance of the world-renowned Military Tattoo, a vast spectacle of massed Scottish pipe bands that takes place in an arena on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle.

Day 9: Edinburgh – Jedburgh – York, England
In the morning drive past the abbey ruins at Jedburgh into wild Northumberland National Park. Later, see a section of Hadrian’s Wall. The Roman coast-to-coast defense against marauding northern tribes. From there travel to York, England’s most medieval city, stand in front of the great structure of York Minister, followed by a guided walk through The Shambles. The Shambles is one of the best-preserved medieval shopping streets in Europe and said to have been the inspiration behind Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley – and today is a colorful gathering place with cheerful cafés and quirky boutiques brimming with the sweet aromas of chocolate, pastries, and pies. In the evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10: York – Stratford-Upon-Avon – London
On the last leg of your journey, stop in Stratford-upon-Avon, the fascinating Elizabethan town. Visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace and family home in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. Hear tales about his family life, marriage, and children with a close look at fascinating artifacts in a world-class collection assembled by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. Also, see Anne Hathaway's Cottage, the family home where Shakespeare’s wife-to-be was born and courted by young Will. Built more than 500 years ago, much of the original structure remains. Return to London this afternoon where an exciting evening takes you to London's theater district for a delicious dinner, followed by excellent seats at a special show.
