Palaces and castles, peaks, and glaciers, moving scenery, and famous movie scenes are all on the itinerary. As you make the stunning journey from melodious Vienna to metropolitan Zurich, you’ll experience the breathtaking scenery in a variety of ways. Cruise down the dreamy Danube, board the Glacier Express train for the car-free mountain resort of Zermatt, and frolic in the same Austrian locations as Julie Andrews did in the hit movie The Sound of Music. At the end of your eye-opening and ear-pleasing vacation, “So long, farewell” will be the hardest words to utter.

Participants are subject to vaccination requirements of the countries visited and the tour operator at the time of travel. Currently vaccinations are not required by Globus or for entry into Switzerland and Austria. Participants are encouraged to follow CDC recommendations for Covid-19 vaccinations and booster shots. A passport valid for six months past the ending date of this adventure is required for all guests. Entry VISAs are not required for US residents but may be required for other nationalities. VISA requirements are subject to change at any time. It is the responsibility of the guest to verify their individual entry requirements and obtain any necessary entry documents in advance of the commencement of travel. Starting on May 3, 2023, U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities.
