Welcome to Paris. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure before you meet your HGV hosts and fellow travelers for your evening welcome dinner and entertainment.
Synonymous with art, fashion, food and history, Paris has something for everyone. Before you embark on your cruise on the Seine, explore Paris with a Pick Your Experience morning activity. Options will be available closer to travel and will range from opportunities to tour the city with a visit to Notre Dame, a Paris highlights tour with a visit to the Panthéon or a Paris City bike tour.
After lunch on your own, you’ll be transferred to the ship and begin your journey on the Seine. In the evening, enjoy pre-dinner cocktails with your HGV host and fellow travelers.
Le Havre offers a unique mix of industrial and natural grandeur. This port city was almost completely rebuilt after the terrible destruction during World War II. Le Havre city center is now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore Le Havre with a Pick Your Experience morning activity.
Option 1: Cycle through Le Havre like a local and explore the city by bicycle.
Option 2: Explore the modern architecture and historic sites with a walking tour.
Option 3: Visit the charming and picturesque port town of Honfleur. Experience what attracted so many artists like Monet to this colorful town.
Enjoy a grill lunch onboard (weather permitting), accompanied by a D-Day lecture from a local historian. Afterwards choose how to spend your remaining afternoon with another Pick Your Experience. Stay onboard and dive deeper into D-Day history with the local historian or visit the architectural masterpiece, Palais Benedictine. Here you’ll learn about the history of the famous Benedictine liquor, enjoy a short self-guided tour and practice making your own cocktails, focusing on the famous liquor.
In the evening, enjoy dinner onboard.
Admire the homes and gardens that follow the banks of the Seine as you arrive in Caudebec. Explore the gateway to Normandy with a full-day Pick Your Experience activity. Choose from:
Option 1: Visit the WWII landing beaches of Normandy with a guided visit. Reflect with a beach ceremony and visit historic U.S. sites, including Omaha Beach, the Pointe du Hoc monument and the American Cemetery.
Option 2: Visit WWII British and Canadian historic sites. Reflect with a beach ceremony and visit historic sites, including the British cemetery, Pegasus Memorial, the seaside town of Arromanches, the Juno Beach Center and the Bény-sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery.
Option 3: Trace the footsteps of William the Conqueror, King Henry IV and Queen Marie de’ Medici on a guided tour. Toast the sightseeing with a brandy tasting of Calvados, the traditional French spirit since 1553.

In medieval times, lords and merchants of Rouen commissioned some of the most tremendous and striking architecture. Nicknamed “the city of a hundred spires,” the town center is home to the 16th-century Astronomical Clock and is lined with masterpieces such as Saint-Ouen Abbey Church, St. Maclou Catholic Church, Notre Dame Cathedral of Rouen and Church of St. Joan of Arc. Option 1: Get active and enjoy a cycling tour through historic Rouen.

In the evening, enjoy entertainment onboard and dinner under the night sky on the Sky Deck, weather permitting.
As you arrive in Les Andelys, you’ll be welcomed by Château Gaillard as it overlooks the small town. Built by Richard the Lionheart, this high on the rocky outcrop, medieval castle is a towering site of the meandering Seine River. Explore Les Andelys with a Pick Your Experience morning activity.
Option 1: Enjoy a guided hike up to the castle ruins of Château Gaillard.
Option 2: Enjoy a guided tour of one of France’s most remarkable castles, Château de La Roche-Guyon, perched on the picturesque cliffs overlooking the village of La Roche-Guyon.
Option 3: Enjoy a guided walking tour of Les Andelys and stroll past scenic spots along the Seine.
Then, head back onboard for a presentation on French crepes. In the late afternoon, enjoy a Pick Your Experience activity to explore more of Les Andelys.
Option 1: Paddle a kayak past 12th-century castles and charming timber houses.

At the junction of the Seine and Oise rivers, Conflans dates back to Neolithic times. Rich in history and culture, Conflans offers tranquil riverbanks, vibrant markets and historical charm. From here, you can venture out and follow in the footsteps of Van Gogh or visit the opulent chateau of Napoleon Bonaparte. Explore Conflans with a Pick Your Experience morning activity. Choose from:
Option 1: Visit Van Gogh’s final resting place of Auvers-su-Oise and see the landscapes and villages that inspired his paintings.
Option 2: Visit Chateau De Malmaison, the opulent home of Napoléon Bonaparte and his wife Josephine.
Option 3: Cycle through the city and take a guided e-bike tour to the architectural masterpiece of Château de Maisons-Lafitte and enjoy a special snack.
Option 4: Visit Chantilly Castle, where the experts will show you how to prepare your own Chantilly cream.
Return to your ship for lunch and then visit the Palace and Gardens of Versailles with a Pick Your Experience offering extra time and exploration at this famous historic site.
In the evening, enjoy an evening gala with your HGV host and fellow travelers. Your evening entertainment will be a traditional French cabaret performance followed by a special onboard surprise.
Your Paris morning and afternoon will offer a variety of Pick Your Experience activities to choose from as you explore the city. Options will be available closer to travel and may range from a city cycling tour, a cooking class, a food walking tour or a city fashion tour.
In the evening, end your Parisian experience with another Pick Your Experience activity. Options will be available closer to travel and may range from a night out in Paris with tickets to Moulin Rouge or dinner at the Eiffel Tower.
Your cruise concludes with an onboard breakfast. As you disembark, you can either bid farewell or continue your journey with our optional vacation extension.
Arrive in London and settle into your 4-star Hilton hotel. Enjoy three days of leisure to explore the city at your own pace, with daily breakfast included. Connect with your host and fellow travelers over a welcome dinner on your second evening. On your final day, enjoy breakfast before your included transfer to the airport.
