Option 1: Stop at the beautiful Descalzos Viejos Winery set in an old monastery with dramatic views. Discover local winemaking and enjoy a tasting on our terrace before sitting down for a long, luxurious traditional Spanish tapas lunch.
Next, explore the spiritual capital of bullfighting and visit the Real Maestranza bullring, the oldest and most picturesque bullring in Spain. After your guided tour, enjoy free time to explore the old town and enjoy the surrounding views of the Serranía de Ronda mountains.
Option 2: Enjoy a thrilling walk on Caminito del Rey. Once known as the most dangerous hike in Spain, the Caminito del Rey has been rebuilt and is open to the public. Visitors can now safely explore the beautiful sights of the three canyons as they stroll on walkways hanging over 100 meters (over 300 feet) along the cliffside.
Before your arrival in Alfarnatejo, you’ll stop at a traditional oil mill to learn about the olive press process and sample local olive oil paired with countryside bread known as Pan Cateto.
Stroll along the streets of Alfarnatejo and see the beautiful church and local cottage museum. Then enjoy a traditional Andalusian lunch prepared by the local housewives who invite you into their homes.
You’ll return to the resort and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. For those wishing to join later in the evening, meet your tour guide and head down to Benalmádena Marina for a glass of sangria as you take in the beautiful surroundings.
Pack a snack and put on your comfortable walking shoes to explore the Alhambra's palace and fortress complex. Located in Granada, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was the former rural residence of Muslim rulers from the 13th and 14th centuries.
You’ll enjoy a lunch, included and planned around your visit to the Alhambra.
Explore the Andalusian capital of Málaga with a morning guided tour. Explore the cultural hubs, local markets and the region’s rich history. Stop for a traditional tapas lunch at a bodega bar and continue your exploration with a visit to Alcazaba.
Alcazaba, a Moorish castle built in the 11th century, is an essential stop when visiting Málaga. This fortress, strategically positioned at the foot of Mount Gibralfaro, was built using material from the Roman Theater and provides sweeping views of Málaga and its surrounding area.
Afterward, join a guided group through the rooms of the Pablo Picasso Museum and take in the famous artist’s works. Next, enjoy some leisure time to explore the shops, hunt for the perfect souvenir and explore the historic streets.
